 Hello World! 👋

 My name is Hang Young, and I’m the founder of Vanilla Byte Inc., a small but passionate IT service company based in South Korea. I explore emerging technologies, identify and create new trends, and love building reusable web components with my team. Nothing makes me happier than sharing my findings, discoveries, and development methodologies with them. I’m constantly focused on enhancing our front-end development skills together.

 My journey with computers began when I was 8 years old, tinkering with an Apple II and MSX. (To this day, I’m still pretty handy with 8-bit BASIC and C. 😜)

 I launched my professional career in 1999 as a test engineer, later transitioning to an advertising agency where I developed and maintained websites using PHP. In 2006, I was captivated by the dynamic and interactive UI of Adobe Flex 2, which inspired me to dive into Front-end development. After the global phase-out of Flash around 2011–2012, I broadened my skill set to include server architecture and database operations.

 Today, I’m a full-stack web developer who’s always eager to learn new technologies and share them with my team. You can find a list of the tools and technologies I’ve recently worked with on the Skill set section. No matter what technical stack our customers require, I’m ready to deliver exceptional results. When you say, “Jump,” I say, “How high?” 👍

 My ultimate goal is to mentor and train the next generation of developers, empowering them to become tech superheroes who can eventually take over my role—so I can kick back a little. 😉

 I’m based in Incheon, South Korea, and have experience commuting nationwide or working remotely with teams in the USA, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, and Italy.
